There's an Octagon house in our area that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places...and...you can spend the night! The Black Sheep Inn in Hammondsport, New York has five stately, very cozy guest rooms, each one different from the next. Rates are from $139 to $259 per night (plus tax) , including breakfast.
There are many things that make Black Sheep Inn very unique. Everything from the food prepared in the kitchen right down to the soap and cleaning products are all organic! There's a real effort here to leave as little of a 'footprint' as possible.
Debbie Meritsky and Mark Rotman bring more than 20 years each of customer service as chef and designer. You'll notice the difference immediately!
The Black Sheep Inn is close to the village of Hammondsport, the wineries on Keuka Lake and right in the middle of the natural beauty of the Finger Lakes region.
